Elevating entrepreneur voices and visibility in underrepresented sectors for inclusive growth
Biashara Pawa - which means the power of business to effect change - is a bold new media and public engagement initiative designed to amplify the voices of women entrepreneurs in underrepresented sectors across Kenya.
IYBA-SEED Kenya is designing 9 sector-based events across Kisumu, Uasin Gishu, and Nakuru counties to foster mentorship, networking, and knowledge sharing among women and youth in underrepresented sectors.
First stop: Kisumu County on 23rd July 2025
The first dialogue event is organised by IYBA-SEED Kenya, Responsible Business Consulting Limited and WISEHUB will take place on 23rd July 2025 in Kisumu County, focusing on showcasing role modeles, highlighting barriers and opportunities in priority sectors, and facilitating interactive sessions with ecosystems actors.
It will bring together inspiring women role models, entrepreneurs, ecosystem actors, policy stakeholders, industry leaders, public and private actors, and the media to spotlight opportunities, break down barriers, and co-create a more inclusive entrepreneurial future.
