On June 6, 2024, the IYBA-SEED team in Senegal brought together some fifteen Senegalese public and private partners involved in the development of women's entrepreneurship in Senegal, for a brainstorming and co-creation workshop dedicated to women's entrepreneurship and strengthening its ecosystem.
During this workshop, we :
- Shared innovative ideas to overcome the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.
- Mapped the key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and their needs.
- Discussed future joint actions to strengthen women's entrepreneurship in Senegal via our IYBA-SEED program.
A study to better understand the Senegalese ecosystem
The mapping carried out during the workshop is synthesized and completed by a literature review in the study “État des lieux de l'entrepreneuriat féminin auSénégal”. This document provides an overview of the various structures and programs, both public and private, that provide training, support, advice and networking for Senegalese women entrepreneurs, at local, regional and international levels.
